My Fine Art Equine Studio sessions are aimed at capturing the true character and personality of your horse and can be made into stunning pieces of wall art for your home.
I also offer Natural Light / Location Equine sessions for outdoor 'at liberty' shots, in-hand or images of you riding and interacting with your horse, see here for details.
With my Fine Art Studio Equine shoots I travel to your horses' yard and set up my portable photography studio. I then work with your horse to capture a full gallery of stunning images. Images can be purchased as digital packages and I also create beautifully presented, professional wall art in a range of framing sizes and options, I am able to bring samples for you to see on request too.
Once I have everything set up, ideally within an indoor school or large barn (with or without power), I ensure that your horse is comportable and not spooked by any of my equipment. In additon to my lighting and backdrop, I also bring along special photo halters which I edited out in post-production, unless you wanted your horse to wear their own bridle and tack. I have experience of working with nervous or 'spooky' horses and your session is never rushed. My goal is to capture their beauty and magnificence, as well as the unique bond between you both should you like to be involved in some of the shots together!
In advance of your session I also send you equine preparation notes to help best prepare your horse for their session.
My Equine session fee covers the exclusive use of my time and talent as a professional photographer as well as my experience in posing and engaging with horses to capture them naturally.
Fine Art / Studio Equine Session £150
Your Images
A few weeks following your equine photoshoot, I will prepare a full image gallery of your images for you to choose from.
We’ll arrange a suitable time for you to return to my studio to view your full gallery and choose a Fine Art digital package to suit you. Once chosen, all images will be expertly edited to the highest standard and your viewing session will also offer you the opportunity to choose from a selection of prints and wall art.
My studio equine shoots are usually best taken from an indoor school, barn or enclosed undercover area where I can set up my portable studio.
